Eero Saarinen was an amazing architect with incredible work. I recently had the opportunity to see two of his buildings and they both happened to be airports, so I thought I’d post them side by side for comparison.
TWA Flight Center in New York City
Dulles International Airport in Washington DC
It is incredible that more than 50 years later (both were built in the ’60’s), these are still some of the best examples of air transport infrastructure in the United States.
