Another cool pavilion by designers from the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) has popped up at the Gardens by the Bay.

The AirMesh Pavilion was designed by the SUTD Architectural Intelligence Research Lab (AIRLAB).

The visually lightweight structure of the asymmetric pavilion orients towards key points of the surrounding context, and the translucent net enclosure is visually engaging in day and night.

Perhaps most interestingly, the structure of the pavilion was generated parametrically, with the standard tubular structural elements joined by custom 3D printed stainless steel joints at each unique intersection.
